At least 16 individuals lost their lives and over 40 sustained injuries when assailants shot at a Hanukkah gathering at Bondi Beach, an incident Australian police are describing as a act of terrorism.
As of the newest reports, authorities have announced the death toll stands at 16, encompassing one of the suspected attackers. Furthermore, 42 people with injuries were admitted to the hospital.

āHow can a joyful rabbi who went to a beach to spread happiness and light, to make the world a better place, have his life ended in this way?ā a family member said.
Schlanger and his wife celebrated the arrival of their newest son in October.
Alexander Kleytman
Alexander Kleytman also lost his life, according to his wife.
She told the events before the shooting, stating they had been standing together when the gunfire erupted. āHe pushed his body up because he wanted to stay near me,ā she stated.
The couple were both survivors of the Holocaust, having endured immense hardship in their youth. They had subsequently relocated to Australia from Ukraine.

French foreign ministry have announced that French man Dan Elkayam is a casualty.
Officially, the Foreign Minister said that France shared the grief of his family, the Jewish community, and the Australian people.

A 10-year-old girl who was taken to the Sydney Childrenās Hospital succumbed to her injuries, authorities stated.
