The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in an LA Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with his family and friends, those closest to him, and all those touched by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
